- On occassion I get requests from Symphonic percussionists who are looking for a particluar sound. In this case the answer was a Sold Cherry set up with a triple release mechanism. Although the design is intended for symphonic players I find that the variety of voices you can achieve by mixing up the snare types makes for an interesting drum in any situation.
