Yes...it sounds as good as it looks. Without doubt my personal fovourite combination of Ti shell with Ti hoops. The ease with which this drum delivers virtually everything I like to hear in a drum just makes me smile...laugh out loud actually...when I play it. Rim shots. Side stick. Ghost notes. Brushes, sticks...it doesn't matter. There's just something about it it. Yeah, the Ti hoops make it a substantial investment...but as a base model the Classic TI is the most affordably priced Titanium snare drum on the market.
