- This is a very limited edition J Class Titanium Black Beauty. The florettes are actually 3 dimension appliques that are minted from copper. The design is based on a combination of the original engravings taken from the Ludwig Black Beauty and the Slingerland Artist model snare drums. The appliques are more than just decorative - the additional weight they provide actually "slows" the shell just enough to give it more of that vintage heavy shell brass snare drum sound. This particular model features Titanium hoops and a beefier version of the traditional vintage hoop clip. This model is sold but there are a few others still available.
