- This is a Standard Classic Stainless Steel model with die cast hoops. The lugs and hoops are blak krome on the #4 stainless finish which works well together. The die cast hoops tend to dry the tone a bit, but not enough to kill the essence of the drum, just enough to make it comfy under a studio mic.
