Dunnett Classic is the first drum company to ever use appliques. The florettes - which are modelled after the engravings on vintage snare drums - are minted from copper. Not only are they decorative, but they also serve to add weight to the shell, giving the drum a bit more focus / /dryness. These were of limited production, however a re-release is in the planning stages.
