- If you want one of these there is only one place you can get your hands on one - talk to Ross Garfield of Drum Doctors in Los Angeles. Ross has been a client for a long time and this drum (and more than just a few others!)was made at his request. The shell is very thick - about (shudder) 3 mm thick and the heaviest drum I have ever made. This drum features a very unique finish and I like to refer to it as Birds eye metal. While I don't really offer these I thought it was worth adding to the collection.
