- Probably one of the most difficult project I ever took on. Hand Hammering - REAL hand hammering that is - is not an easy or rapid process. It took me over 4 hours to peen hammer this shell using a modified upholstery hammer. The hoops were supplied by the client. The shell was finished in chrome. It was exceptionally dry and focused - overtones were nominal. A wonderful drum and very likely one of only a few I will ever make.
