- This is a 514 Carbon Fibre snare drum in natural fibre finish. As with all Dunnett composite shells, V Class tube lugs are used in place of the R Class lugs. Carbon Fibre drums have a truly distinct sound all their own, however much of that depends on the shell contruction. Dunnett Classic offers 2 types of CF shell design: hollow core and solid. Hollow core shells are exceptionally lightweight and have some great finish options such as real wood and or personalized graphics that are molded right into the finish. Solid CF shell are also very lightweight and come in a variety of solid colours and sparkle finishes.
