- The acid finishes have been all but discontinued, partly because it is such an unpredictable process - I never knew what the result would be - sometimes it was great sometimes it looked like someone got sick on the drum. This 5.5 x 14 bronze originally had one of those bad finishes and the owner sent it back for polishing instead. I had to strip the previous coatings off and by the time I was done this was the reslut. I decided to leave it and ship it back as you see it.
