Courage
is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else
is more important than fear. |

Mark Bingham was a passenger on flight 93 that was hi jacked and crashed on September 11, 2001. It is our understanding and belief that the heroic efforts of Mark, along with several other passengers, made an attempt to subdue one or more of the hi jackers and regain control of the aircraft. These actions likely resulted in the plane not reaching it's intended target, thus preventing a substantial loss of life. We knew Mark only through his heroic deed and through his love of drumming. We didn't know him but we wish we had. We do know that we will never forget him. We also know that we are not alone and that our sentiments are shared by many of our brothers and sisters from the drumming community. The names below are drummers from the community at large, who have been inspired by Mark's heroism and join us in acknowledging his efforts and those of his fellow passengers. Mark's courageous co-passengers: Todd Beamer, Tom Burnett, Jeremy Glick Please visit this web page
