The Tempus stand. Paul spent ALL of his time here while I divided my time between the Poole / Sound Attak stands and indulging my photo-journalistic cravings. There weren't many times when Paul's booth didn't have someone hammering away, which is why he was there so... |
![]() A stunning Gold sparkle Tempus kit. |
This is me with Alan Buckley, a 70 something collector who owns over 300 Leedy drums - full kits if I recall. I spent some time looking over pictures of his wonderful collection and discussing the new George Way line. I suggested to Alan that he must have a very big house to keep all of this gear in to which he replied "No, I'm just a very good packer!". |
This is Andrew, proud owner of a Dunnett Classic Titanium who stopped in to introduce himself. Andrew was one of many UK drummers and Dunnett owners who I had the pleasure of meeting! |
Mike Dolbear and Gerry McDonnell. As the team that heads up mikedolbear.com Mike and Gerry are two of England's most recognizable drum community personalities! |
Just...one of those end of show moments!
|
Mr. Mark Fletcher stopping by to pick up his new 6514TI all engraved with the ridiculously difficult Celtic knot pattern! Mark stopped in briefly to pick up his new drum before rushing of to the studio to record with it that same day. Paul and I would have a chance to hear him play it a few days later at Ronnie Scott's jazz bar in SoHo. More on that later! |
The DRUMMER Live production office where free lollis were happening! |
Drummer Live was exceptionally well organized. All of the production staff were friendly and very
helpful and made us feel right at home. |
Paul, Simon Ferguson and myself.

My man Ronnie Bruner Jr.

Alex Reeves authored a great Dunnett product review for DRUMMER magazine.
Alex is also the author of Fills in Time, an excellent book that deals specifically with drum fills. I've been wroking through it and it's a great book.
