George. H. Way Drums
Yep, he's back. This is the first production prototype George Way Studio model and it was one of the most coveted drums at the show. Although the drums have been completely re-designed, there just wasn't much worth changing! The shell formula, hoops and Tuxedo lugs - even the snare wires - remain the same as the originals. The beer tap throw off was modified to incorporate Dunnett's patented keyless snare wire quick release system.

Drum Workshop's Juels takes the sneaky percussion paparazzi all in stride. Juel's was on hand to help set up a respectable array of DW drums. |

Gareth Heeley of Highwood drums is really making a name for himself.
These drums are of exceptional design and quality. His booth was always so busy I had to borrow these 2 shots - I could never get an open shot of the drums! photo: David G. Hughes |
Although I didn't see it in action and you'd almost never notice it, this is a suitcase style kit.
